The firmware can be downloaded from the official PlayStation website, there's also an additional firmware package that contains the system fonts that needs to be installed. The font firmware package can be downloaded straight from the PlayStation servers.
Currently, Vita3K supports .pkg, NoNpDrm, FAGDec, or manually decrypted games (Vitamin dumps are not supported and Maidump is unstable). The games should be in a .zip or .vpk format if you want to install them from the emulator, or if you prefer to copy them yourself, you can drag and drop the game folder in your pref_path/ux0/app folder (not applicable for NoNpDrm dumps/.pkg files).
How To Install Vpk
VPK (Valve Pak) files are uncompressed archives used to package game content. Valve's post GCF games store materials, models, particles, choreography scenes and many other file types in VPK files.VPKs are also used to distribute mods via the the addoninstaller tool that ships with some games, such as Left 4 Dead 2.
Note: The vpk binary makes VPK files of version 2.0, which are not compatible with games like Left 4 Dead 2 that use an older version of the VPK format (in fact Left 4 Dead 2 will not even start if it detects an unsupported vpk). There is a Python package that can be installed with
On Linux / Unix clients, the vpk file can be found replacing "..\steamapps\common" for "/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/". However, it is named vpk_linux32 instead of vpk.exe. Note: If you installed Steam via Flatpak, the path is slightly different. Look in /.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common
The guide uses the VitaDeploy application as the primary method of installing other apps and a custom firmware. If you didn't install VitaDeploy when installing h-encore, you can install it yourself with molecularShell or VitaShell.
Double clicking on the .vpk file will automatically install that addon. If instead of installing, you are prompted to select what program to open the file with select the addoninstaller commonly found here \steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\bin\addoninstaller
You can download a stable RetroArch by clicking here. If you want to install the Nightly version, you can also use this link. Nightly files will give you the latest developments. This is sometimes dangerous and sometimes innovative. We will use the Stable version and recommend it. You can download RetroArch's data file from this link or nightly.
Once the installation is complete, run the RetroArch once and you will see that Fonts and Images are missing. Close RetroArch and connect PS Vita to PC with VitaShell. Once you have made the connection, move the files of the downloaded data.7z archive to ux0:/data/retroarch/. After successful file transfers, close the application and run RetroArch again.
The NoNpDrm plugin allows you to install official PS Vita files along with any updates or patches. For this guide, we will install NoNpDrm files on our hacked PS Vita. You must have NoNpDrm installed (steps 1-3) before you can use NoPayStation or PKGj.
Note:If you want to install downloads through PKGj instead, restart your Vita after pressing X to save the modifications and then follow my PKGj guide. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle []).push();
You also have to hit triangle in Vitashell to refresh the home page so the game will appear. That is the last step though, it will only work after you installed nonpdrm and set up the config.txt file in your tai folder.
What issue is it causing you? Can you still load Henkaku? If you are on 3.60, reinstall Henkaku by going to on your Vita broswer. More information can be found at my guide here: -enso-on-firmware-3-60/
Are you on 3.60, if so try to reinstall henkaku which is Step 1 here: -enso-on-firmware-3-60/. Otherwise, to get back Vitashell go here: Once you have Vitashell you should be able to go into the ur0:tai and fix/add whatever was deleted.
I have tried many methods and viewed many youtube tutorials on running nonpdrm games, all of it the methods failed until I found this site. Initially I was on 3.68 Henkaku but then downgrade it again 3.65 Henkaku. Never used Enso until today. After got everthing installed and running. I rebooted the Vita with Enso running, refreshed the Live Arena and there it is. Satisfied with the process and thanks to you that I found answers to my doubts.
Not everything from Nicoblog is a nonpdrm file nor will it have everything associated with the game like an update or dlc. It is best to use Nopaystation or pkgj for the files you need, those program usually contain the dlcs as well. See my guide on how to install them.
yes my micro sd is fine. i just cannot install the dlcs even after they are downloaded even when using pkgj. games r working fine. i dont have the addcont folder anywhere on vitashell. i think thats the problem but i have no idea how to fix it.
Hmmm, do you have nopaystation installed? It is the same database as pkgi, but you can get the DLC (addcont folder) on your pc and then transfer that to your ux0. Just make sure the gameid matches, meaning the game must be from the same region.
You can still complete the steps through FTP instead of USB, it just takes a little longer. Have you tried a different USB cable, otherwise I would install QCMA that will install a driver on your PC to recognized the Vita. IF you need help installing QCMA, look at my guide steps 1, 3, and 4.
The first problem does sounds like a memory card issue but it could also be a cluster problem. When you format the microsd card did you set the cluster size to 64kb? The Vitashell is saved to whatever memory card is being used, so if you have the slim vita just remove all your memory cards then install Vitashell. This will saved it to the internal memory.
A native homebrew browser for the Playstation Vita.Vita Homebrew Browser, in conjunction with Rinnegatamante's Vita homebrew & plugin database (VitaDB), helps you discover, download and install homebrew directly to your HENkaku enabled Playstation Vita.VHBB was awarded first place prize in the GekiHEN competition under the 'utilities' category.
Custom Themes Manager is a simple application for PlayStation Vita that allows you, as the name implies, to fully manage your Custom Themes direcly from the console. The user can browse, view, download and install Custom Themes from the online repository of psv.altervista.org on his PSVita directly from the same application, without the need to use the Internet Browser, external apps or mods to the database or to connect the console to a PC. This application also includes a function to completely uninstall any Custom Theme you don't like anymore so as to free up space for new themes, again without the need of a PC or having to format the whole Memory Card. Included also other useful features, such as: installing a Custom Theme from a local folder of your Memory Card, creating and restoring (in case you need) a backup of your own database (app.db file), dumping an official theme to a local folder, checking for updates available for any Custom Theme in the online repository, applying a theme without the need to go in the Settings app manually or choosing what partition to use to install the Custom Themes files. Finally, the application also includes a handy function to reboot your PSVita, saving you the trouble to manually shutdown and restart it, useful to correctly apply changes and avoid any bug after Custom Theme(s) installation or uninstallation.
This is the tutorial for how to install mods from MLPTF2Mods.com distributed in ".vpk" format. This tutorial will guide you step by step through the process of installing mods downloaded from the site on Ubuntu.
You can find their respective downloads by following the attached links. While it is not required to download and install these exact mods, it would greatly aid in the learning process if you were to follow along using the exact same mods.
While the five steps outlined above demonstrate the basic process used to install all mods from the site, some mods require more than one file to be copied over in order to work properly due to the addition of choices.
If you follow the fourth method in the thrid step of the basic installation section where you remove the period from your hidden ".steam" folder to make it visible, Steam will actually recreate the hidden folder upon next start up without any negative consequences. So while this means the unhidden version of the folder is unused by Steam, it still provides access to the shortcuts leading to your custom folder without having to make your own.

This may be due to incomplete installation or other operating system conditions. If you do not find the same files/folders/registry information, please proceed to the next step. 2ff7e9595c
